Travel blogs aren’t really my thing.
I have been moving around the world and living in exotic places for most of my life, but detailing the ins and outs of getting from Point A to Point B seems to be a trivial thing.
I prefer to write about journeys–not just the literal movement through space and time, but also the deeper psychological journey that we all undertake during the brief time that we are here. Journeys in that sense can be profound.
So you won’t find too many stories here about how I spent 2 days on a crippled ferry in the Indonesian archipelago, or how I escaped muggings by the Kurds in eastern Turkey (although I lived through both adventures). You might, however, find me trying to go deeper into what that all means for us.
